The Nordic Master of Global Music (GLOMAS) joint degree programme has been launched in affiliation with the Glomus network, and its first cohort of students will begin their studies in September, 2010. The application deadline is March 1st, 2010. The Master of Global Music is an innovative and specialized graduate degree programme offered in collaboration between higher education institutions in three Nordic nations. Students will primarily be affiliated with one of the three Glomus founding partner institutions (Denmark, Sweden, or Finland), but all will also participate in joint courses held at each institution, for which travel and lodging expenses will normally be covered. In most cases, the Master degree programme will take 2 years to complete. In addition to coursework, all students will also conduct fieldwork on a foreign or minority musical culture and complete a final project.
