GLOMUS Camp - Mozambique 2009
In August 2009, GLOMUS offered a joint one- week course of music making, concerts and networking meeting on the beautiful Island of Mozambique, a former Portuguese fortress and UNESCO world heritage site in Mozambique.
The Camp brought together 35 participants (teachers/students) from: Mozambique, South Africa, Ghana, Mali, Syria, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway .
The objectives of this pioneering project were to attain intercultural understanding between Nordic and African cultures through collaborative music making and intensive learning.
